As the show airs, we are going to be doing weekly recaps on our podcast with fellow contestants on the show. Anxiety and ADHD make quite a pair when you’re trying to win a $1 million prize. Little did we know, CBS had other plans.Įarlier this year, we left again to finish the competition and we learned a lot about ourselves. We all waited to go back home, joking with each other that we’d have a good story for a cocktail party… the time we were on that weird cancelled season of The Amazing Race. Due to the unique circumstances of the pandemic, none of the contestants knew what would happen next. We left in February 2020 and we were in Europe as the world was shutting down. Contestants from Season 33 of the CBS series THE AMAZING RACE, scheduled to air on the CBS Television Network. It was a fun dream because in our minds there was a ZERO percent chance it would ever happen. Penn and I both agreed that being on the show was a bucket list item for us. Whenever Penn and I would put together IKEA furniture, we would always joke… “We better get better at this if we’re ever going to be on The Amazing Race.” You see we remember when The Amazing Race first aired back in 2001, and for the last 20 years we’ve watched.
